Serrano Animal and Bird Hospital and their team saved our Prince. He's a green cheek conure who was accidentally exposed to a poison in our home. He was so terribly sick when we brought him in and their team helped him recover. He wouldn't be here today had they not been able to help him. We are forever in their debt. <3
I drive an hour and a half just to go to these guys! the staff is amazing and the Doctors are the best. after a really bad experience at another practice, these guys were able to diagnose my cat instead of being dismissive and charging me a ridiculous amount for it, and get me on the right track. unfortunately due to the carelessness of the previous vet, my pet passed. the staff at SABH was about as heartbroken as I was. We went through a very difficult time with our dog Dusty who was diagnosed with full kidney failure. Doctor Weldy, and his staff went above and beyond to help us get through this. you will never meet a kinder understanding staff that will help you and support you in every way. I choose to drive from Bakersfield to have my 🐱😻seen at this hospital....there are plenty of fine vets here in Kern County,but the level of compassion, knowledge and dedication is unique here! It makes for a long day, but it’s so worth it!
they all care so much about the animals. Dr. Weldy is a Saint to put up with my weird dog.
I had to come on here and say how absolutely wonderful this team is. We just had to say goodbye to our sweet Ellie this week after 15 years. The care and love Dr. Pokard and the entire team showed us is absolutely amazing. They have brightened some very dark days and I will be forever grateful to them. Thank you for loving our pets so much and taking such great care of them. You have no idea how much what you all do makes a difference in our lives. A millions stars to each of you!!
