Dr. Freeman is a great provider. She really listened to my concerns and took her time during my visit.
So let me say upfront I didn't understand the mission of the Center. I had asked my PCM for a referral for counseling, which this office doesn't do. I didn't figure that out until I was in the lobby. My bad. But I have to say I was a little put off by the process. When the clerk called me to set up the appointment, before I had even talked to anyone, she started pushing Ketamine and TMS treatments. She wasn't a clinician, and no one had evaluated me. Scheduling was easy, and the follow-ups have been reliable. I never feel forgotten or like I’ve become some forgotten piece of the healthcare process. They’re doing it right at Serenity!
Overall experience was structured and professional. The team ensured everything was handled in a calm and efficient manner.
Do not go here. They do not care about your mental health. They care about money. I suffer from severe agoraphobia and made it clear I live to far yet they pushed to schedule this with 24 hour cancellation. I spoke to someone today at 9:10 and said once again I can’t make it out that far. They pushed to have me seen ignoring my mentions of current mental health issues. It’s freaking wild they are allowed to operate. This caused me stress and I now owe $150 dollars because I cancelled 23 hours and 50 minutes before my appoint... read more
