I was glad that the hospitalist ar Salem hospital referred me to Serenity Hospice. The services ,the staffs are very professional,and was caring the client so much.
Wonderful people. My Father was on Hospice for 8 months and 2 of them came every week. Dad told me when we moved him, (with his cougar trailer, a big box trailer he built for and his stuff), barely a year before he needed hospice. He said he didnt want to go to the "cottage farm" (he was born in 1930 and that is what he called those assisted living) anyway, huge kuddos for the employees. They took good care of my Dad.
I have worked with this provider for years in different settings. Care is always attentive and compassionate. They are consistent with their team and are always willing to help. They involve all members of the care team. Serenity has a wonderful and dedicated team in the Silverton area! We appreciate you Serenity Hospice.
There are not words to express how much their support and guidance helped us through my dad’s journey. The compassion, availability, and full wrap around support from his amazing nurse, Molly, to the support teams - Dale and Amber - to even his bath aide - Felix - and night support so we could try to get some sleep. It was maxing and helped make my dad’s journey nearly everything we hoped it would be. Not only for my dad, but also for us. We owe a huge amount of debt and gratitude for everyone who helped along the way.
We were very happy with out moms in home hospice care. All the nurses and bathers were very helpful. Would have loved to give 5 stars, but the sympathy card we received was addressed to only my sister and they had someone else’s name that was not my mom. Sympathy cards are a nice touch, but can be hurtful when they don’t have the deceased’s name right. My mom’s name was Nancy and card said Krista. Maybe just don’t send them at all
