Of course, this is the perfect little dessert place. Their frozen hot chocolate is divine! However, Serendipity is great for lunch too. Must try: The Haight Ashbury sandwich! It's absolutely fantastic

The portions are large I came for the dessert and just couldn't do it. Save some room!
You'll wait a long time for your food, be told they don't have half the items on the menu, and then be asked if you are enjoying your meal, approximately 15 times. Cute place all the same though.

Really bad service, didn't want to charge my phone, the waiter brought the check without me even asking for it like kicking us out of the place (and it was kind of empty)
I didn't have to wait in line because I was alone. There is a single seat table upstair that seems to be always available for lone-goers.
