My mom went in for a simple tooth extraction and came out of there with a HUGE bruise on her whole side of her face. She literally looks like she had been in a fight (with her losing the battle of coarse). She was then seen a couple of days later as she was still in a lot of pain to be told that she has a dry socket. The dentist that seen her on the follow up visit said, "Oh sorry it wasn't I who had done the extraction."
