This was my usual go-to location since I live so close, but I’ve felt awkward and uncomfortable the last few times I’ve done my shopping here. I get it, it’s your job to prevent shoplifting and to keep tabs on everyone I’m sure as I’ve witnessed 2 girls run out of ulta once with a basket full of items.. but it’s a bit much. I had like 4 employees ask me if I needed help in a row within a minute, don’t they communicate through their headsets if I’m not mistaken? Awful experience. Do not buy gift cards from Sephora. I received a damaged gift card, and their response was, "That’s your problem—we won’t refund your money." This is a terrible way to treat regular and loyal customers. I’m extremely disappointed and will never shop at Sephora again. I’m also sharing this experience with all my friends so they know how we were treated.

Sephora at Carmel Mountain has very good customer service. The store is well-organized, with lots of products, and is clean. It looks like the people enjoy working there; they are happy, and it is palpable. It is one of my favorite Sephora stores to go to.
