Apathetic, curt, rude and if you have an emergency you would NOT want him as your doctor. No follow through. Just some number that passes through the door.
My doc left a written consultation request for him on patient already admitted to the hospital. He never showed up for three days. He never called back that he is too busy or cannot make it. Seems too good or proud to see a patient in need.
When my hematologist/oncologist, whom I was very happy with, left the practice, I had a lot of trepidation about switching to a new one. Dr. Rokhsar was recommended and I couldn't be happier. He is very thorough and asks a lot of questions. He is just as thorough about answering any questions or concerns I have. He explains everything he is doing and his thinking about my treatment. I can't recommend him highly enough.
Came to see this doctor for 2nd opinion for Waldenström Lymphoma. He asked many questions and answered all of ours. He gave his honest input, and we walked out of there feeling reassured that our treatment regime was correct.
