3/31/2026 I am writing to formally express my concern regarding an incident I experienced as both a former employee and a patient of the Sentara Weight Loss Clinic. During a recent appointment at the Weight Loss Clinic, I was subjected to what I believe was inappropriate and unnecessary treatment by Pamela Leydig, the manager of the Sentara Surgery Specialists department. Dr Fitzharris was wonderful. He explained everything in a manner I could understand. He has great bedside manner, and he prescribed the anesthesia method that minimized pain. I would highly recommend him and his staff.
