Dr. Johnson & Staff Dr. Johnson is top notch. He is well-educated, well-spoken, and has a genuine care and concern for his patients. My daughter and I have been patients of his for several years. He has taken the time to check into various complaints that other doctors may have chosen to ignore and we trust his judgement. The staff here is wonderful.
No Star Deserved No Way! My mother died there. Brought to the ER by the ambulance, I followed in my car. I had ALL my moms Medical History with me. I was her caretaker since a stroke that left her unable to speak and with short term memory and right side paralysis. She spent months at Bryn Mawr Pa, learning to walk and print again. In was sent to the ER waiting room for paperwork. I notified immediately the NURSE AIDE receiving that I HAD TO BE with my mom since she could not speak for herself, and I was her guardian. Emergency Department is very slow Not recommended unless its the closest and only hospital near you in case of an emergency. There is always a minimum of a 3-4 hour wait in the ER. I took my Asthmatic son once and they made us wait 45 minutes even though he was having trouble breathing.
Keep Moving Down I-95! I would not recommend this hospital to anyone -- family, friends or associates. The ER is not clean and the wait for my family member to get a room was 15 hours. The nurses on the units are responsive, but would not recommend this hospital if you need to have any kind of specialized care or extended treatment. Your best best is to keep driving down I-95 in either direction (North or South) for the best care.
"Rough in the Diamond" If you're bleeding profusely from your carotid artery, if you've severed a limb, suffered a gunshot wound to the head, or your airway is obstructed and you're turning shades of blue, and Potomac is the closest hospital, roll the dice and take your chances. The best at the beach! We have been going to VBPC for 18 years. They have early hours for walk-ins without an appointment. This has been a tremendious help because of my work schedule. The staff is friendly and cooperative. I can call in the morning and have an appointment that same morning. I know at other pediatricians a sick child can wait hours to see the doctor. The most we have ever waited is 15 minutes and the doctor and nurse apoligized for the delay. My child had frequent ear infections and they were treated promtly... read more
Outstanding Doc and Staff!!! I can not say enough about the wonderful staff and pediatricians at VBPC! They have cared for my daughter since birth. I was nervous going into delivery and not having yet decided upon a pediatrician, but the docs at VBPC did an OUTSTANDING job and still continue to with my 11 month old daughter!! I recommend them to any and all of my friends who have children or will soon.
Nice facility Very nice facility with state of the art equipment. Always very clean with a nice staff. It's still a little too high for my budget, but it's great overall.
