My mom was terminal, her husband was also at Sentara Hospital after open heart surgery and then a stroke. Sentara put her in their inhouse hospice aka palliative care on the top floor of the hospital. We could visit both of them. My mom had 24 hr nursing care, we had places to sleep, food, a refrigerator, chapel and were made comfortable. I could not have asked for better assistance during a horrific time for my family.
