This office is not patient friendly at ALL. No compassion. Had an appt for a test which took months to get in the first place. Dealing with a screaming toddler trying to get out the door, ran a few minutes late. Dropped the child at sitter and called ahead to let them know I was a few mins behind. Well, that person never informed the front desk. Arrived 16 mins late, they have a 15 minute policy and would not see us. Really? Cannot say enough about Emily Conrad. She explained and demonstrated every exercise.  She was always giving words of encouragement.  I have used this facility many times and can truly say this time with Emily has been the best. Thank you Emily Conrad!!!

I have had several successful surgeries at the Sentara Port Warwick Ambulatory Surgery Center, Today I went in with calm nerves until after checking in being told that my person driving could not be in the back with me before they take me in for surgery. She just said something happened in the past since I was there and some changes were made. I was very surprised. I have had surgery at every local hospital, Mary Immaculate, Riverside, and Sentara. I just wrote one but it may not have gone through! I started physical therapy after a fall which resulted in a total reversed shoulder replacement. Clare did an excellent job preparing me for surgery. She increased muscle strength and gave me many “tips” for dressing etc. after surgery. After surgery I was transferred to Trew as Claire was on medical leave. Was it fun when Trew was moving my shoulder ? No! Received a botox shot on September 2019 that caused a TBI and significant damage to my body and nervous system. Glenn Deputy told me it was impossible for botox to cause this. He is either ignorant of the potential side effects of the drug he prescribes or is a liar. What do you think?

I had appointment with Dr. Ali H. Baalbaki on August 7, 2023. The appointment went well, I was referred to Dr. Ali H. Baalbaki by my Doctor for left knee pain. After the examination he ordered a nerve block for Sept. 1, 2023 at 10:30. I was prepared to go on that date. I got a call on August 29, 2023 from the referral dept. I believe her name was Cheryl that she had not heard from my insurance company. She called me again on August 31, 2023 and said again she had not heard from my insurance company. I was hospitized recently for chest pains. Went through the emergency room. The ER is a well oiled machine! The ER was packed but the staff were outstanding! I was then transferred to the short stay unit. The short stay unit was great! The staff were very pleasant. I had to have Nuclear Medicine studies the next day and again a well run department and very friendly staff! I was very grateful for the Nuc Med staff and their professionalism. Wife had an appointment for a mammogram. Registered online to help save time. Arrived at the appointment 15 minutes early. 5 minutes after checking in, she was given her wristband and was told someone would be out to get her very shortly. An hour after her appointment time, we decided to leave. During the hour, we witnessed individuals check in and taken back for their procedure. I guess since my wife is disabled and stuck in a wheelchair, no one wanted to be deal with her.
