i think they need more education on helping people with mental illinesses and suicidal thoughts . My son went their for help and all he got was a notebook throwed at him and told him to write his feelings in that . He went on a Saturday and they told him he would be in a bed on Monday but my son died on Monday from suicide. So with that being said I think there should be more education on what to do to save people from choosing this way.
Truly Awesome Nurses on the Step Down floor!! They are phenomenal! We love Maddi the therapy dog. Cafeteria workers are great. ER staff was wonderful. Thank you for taking good care of your patients!
Bad experience for a good friend yesterday 01-15-16. After a long day at the hospital yesterday, knee surgery scheduled at 1:30 didn't happen until 4:00 pm. When she finally got home, family went to the phamacy to get pain prescription filled (which they stressed the importance of taking several times) but they couldnt fill it because no one put a name on the prescription. Couldn't get ahold of the Dr at all, just a Dr on call. Since it was a narcotic, it could not be phoned in so they had to phone in something less potent. ... read more
Horrible horrible hospital! I came in to the ER and the Nurse didn't tell me I was going back so I left my name stickers so I went back to get them and when I met back with the nurse who is elderly and completely and utterly rude stated to my face I do not know why you even came in you just have a cold and you will be out in 5 mins. Well when I was seen by the PA she stated that I have a very bad Respiratory infection and I've been back here for almost Hour now so that nurse should be retired! She has no right to talk to me ... read more
