To be honest I have never had a good experience with sentara as a whole corporation. I have had horrible experiences with them they don't listen to their patients doctors need to listen to their patients in order to know what's wrong with them.my friend said this would be a good hospital to deliver it so I stuck with group for women and then they handed me off over to EVMS which is a big utter mess.Not only do I have to deal with the stress of waiting in there waiting room for an hour or longer I have to deal with the stress... read more

The really don't care about the black patients at this hospital by observation and it's the black nurses who treat you the worse

You could die waiting for the nursing staff to help you at this hospital to much laughing and doing nothing at the nurses station and they don't even try to hide it

Called yesterday afternoon around 1:00 pm, waited for an hour and 9 minutes because I received a notice of judgment and payment demand. My call was answered at 2:19 p.m., which Marina answered. My brother was transferred here from another local hospital for life saving measures while he was having a heart attack. He passed away and as far as I can tell, no one made a serious effort to contact me ( I am his only surviving family member), I live in Minneapolis, MN.
