I had a very disappointing experience at this hospital. While sitting in a back waiting area, the ultrasound technician, Jessica, “Jessie” approached me while wheeling a wheelchair and immediately rolled her eyes at me, shaking her head, and huffing and puffing. The other patients sitting in the waiting area were completely baffled by this as well. Her attitude was extremely rude and unprofessional, which only made an already stressful situation worse. PA Barr NO stars! STAY AWAY, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! I used to love the place. Clean, quick, the docs and nurses were patient, helpful, and understanding. What happened? The ONLY way I'll be a patient here again is if a Lucas device is involved!

Hands down the best emergency room I’ve ever been to. The woman that checked me in, the man that recorded my vitals, the PA and another lady that helped me were all very friendly. The amount of time it took to be seen was almost too good to be true. My wife and I looked at each other and laughed multiple times throughout the visit because of how big the difference our experience was from the ER we went to on Kempsville road (Sentera Leigh) was just days prior . I was actually scared to go there. I do not eat at anyplace with less than 4 stars. So sing a hospital with a 2.9 scared me. But my review might be very biased because i love in nyc lol place was very clean. Everyone was very polite. I won't say anyone was like a 5 golden star but can you blame people working in an ER that's incredibly hard and tedious work. Went in for a cough i can't get rid of. Left with x-rays, catscan a lot of blood work. Some people might be upset for being there for 4hrs. I'm happy people care about b... read more

Came here on Friday July 11th with SEVERE pain in my lower back, sides, and abdomen. Im 20 weeks pregnant with my first and wanted to be sure everything was okay. They did a urinalysis and said everything was fine then sent me home. I got my results on my sentara app that night and i’m not sure they even looked at my results or did not care enough to help me, but it was clear i had an infection of some sort.
