The best people for a very challenging situation! I can't say enough about how hard they try to help even when it's an impossible task.
Candee is very conscientious, she comes to work on time and is ready to do the job. She always asks if there is something she can do for me in addition to caring for dad. I like that Candee always tries to engage dad in dialog. Oftentimes that dialog is a one-way conversation but she persistently makes the attempt; I think she's actually making headway. I live in Chico and my Dad lives in Torrance. We had no idea what to do and Seniors Helping Seniors South Bay took the time to explain everything including liability insurance (it's important!) and the background check process they put caregivers through. We discussed the difference between them and how other agencies operate, which really helped clarify things. It was nice to know we had Matt and his local team watching out for Pops!
