Our family hired Seniors Helping Seniors a year ago, and it’s truly been life-changing. Amos, the owner, is an absolute godsend. We started with 15 hours of care a week for my father, who has Alzheimer’s, and now we’re up to 8 hours a day 7 days a week with the progression of my dad’s disease and the need for more care. I have had 2 caregivers from Seniors Helping Seniors Reseda. Both men were very capable, gentle, and patient in caring for my husband. They are prompt in the morning to handle his hygiene and feeding. They take time to sit on the patio with him for a little music therapy and even sway his hands as if to dance with him. Oh, and let's not forget the help with a few light domestic chores. I am very satisfied with the service we receive from Seniors Helping Seniors.
I hired Amos Marvel, who is in charge of Seniors Helping Seniors, to provide care for my 86 year old sister who has dementia and the problems that come with that. I live in NC and she lives in Sherman Oaks, California, so I have been quite concerned with making sure she gets excellent care. Amos has been wonderful and is easy to access. I couldn't have wished for a more kind, loving & caring group to assist me with my brother's care.They go above & beyond to assist in care as well as suggesting various ways to make financial assistance. We’re very happy with our relationship with SHS. Amos is very accessible and my husband’s caregiver Ruth has given him an opportunity to get out for walks, which has strengthened him. Her time here has also given me more freedom and lightened my workload.
