Seniors Helping Seniors connected my 88 year old mom with a perfect match. They connected through their shared love of music and chickens. Erni, short for Ernestine, delivered wonderful care to mom while keeping her spirits up as a friend and companion. I could see they loved each other.
I first starting using Seniors Helping Seniors in Folsom and when I moved to Pollock Pines, I was assigned another caregiver that lived local. Jamie was very helpful and pleasant and went the extra mile for any needs that arose. Not only was she a wonderful caregiver, but became my friend, often texting to check on me in her off time. I had a very positive experience working with Seniors Helping Seniors to get help for my Mom. Laurence the owner is very professional and responsive. The caregivers are professional, kind, and empathetic. I really like the online reporting system. The caregivers write notes on every visit to my Mom and I'm able to respond and ask questions providing transparency and an accurate report of my Mom's situation.
Laurence does a great job keeping in contact. She cares about the needs of your loved one and will do her best to find a suitable caregiver.
This organization is amazing. They took such great care of my mom after she was released from the hospital, not only providing much needed support, but also companionship. Laurence and her team genuinely care about their clients, and all of the helpers went above and beyond. If you have a relative or friend who needs compassionate support, I highly recommend SHS.
