Update: Senior Helpers changed leadership and the new director helped us and rectified the situation. I’m confident that the issues we had were related to the people who are no longer with the organization. We had some bumps at first, but the caregivers for my mom were lovely and kind. Jenn and John, specifically, made our lives so much easier. After my mom went into assisted living, we were unable to get the deposit back for over a month. Senior Helpers of Naperville connects you with good caregiving contractors who provide compassionate, top-notch care for seniors, truly easing family concerns. However, their administrative side disappoints. Schedulers who place their people in bad positions to honor committed timeframes. Contractually obligated security deposit refunds lag well beyond the promised 7-14 days, and their “automatic” refund process claim feels misleading.
