I am thankful that Senior Helpers offers training sessions for me to better cope with my mother's Alzheimer's Disease progression. I am in hopes that other family members will utilize this service. I strongly recommend both the Alzheimer's Disease/Dementia and also the Parkinson's Disease trainings, if your family is face either of these challenging journeys. Senior Helpers have valuable information to share.

So disappointed. My mom got approved for long-term care benefits. We picked one of the plan agencies which wrote a care plan based on her needs. My sister and I decided to pick Senior Helpers to provide a care giver based on the care plan prescribed for her. After a week of services, I get a message on my phone that effective tomorrow the care giver will not be coming any more. Excellent in-home care for my Dad and step-mom. We all loved the "helpers" who came and assisted with linen changes, some household activities and meal preparation. Always sunny smiles and kept an eye out for changes in my parent's health. I can't recommend them highly enough.

I can’t tell you how disappointed we are. Sunday their caregiver calls out, making us have to stay an extra two hours while they found a replacement. Today, two days later the girl is a no call no show. This is not the first time. These people don’t seem to be dependable, or care about customer service.

Even though I am retired from Alzheimer Association, I still make referrals to Senior Helpers when asked for assistance from friends and members of my Support Group in Winter Haven.
