I’ve been meaning to write a review for Dr. Mebrahtu for a while. She’s been my PCP for five years. Please note- I am pretty particular and have high standards (aka “high maintenance” lol) Dr. M is very consistent, remembers everything about our past visits/ discussions, and shows up for me when I have an urgent need or medical problem. Dr. Mebrahtu has been my primary physician for a few years now. When she comes into the examination room she leaves everything, not pertaining to me, outside of the room. She listens to my needs and provides the appropriate care, or referral, for my situation at that time. she understands that life happens and DOES NOT condemn me or make me feel ashamed if I am not able following my medication regimen or if I have to reschedule because of "life" issues. 0 stars would be more appropriate. This Doctor was the worst I have ever met. As soon as we arrived she expressed needing to make our appt quick. Very dismissive in her responses and the facial expressions were so uncalled for. Quick to place orders or put in a prescription without truly counseling on next steps. Very disappointed with her services and “professionalism”.
Had my initial consult with her and absolutely loved it. Straight to the point and no sugar coating. Right up my alley.
Dr Mebrahtu and her team, were great. Very helpful and thorough. She was my VA Community Care Primary Care Physician. Her and her team were very attentive to schedule any necessary appointments with other specialists. Excellent care and follow up. Thank you
