I called and they addressed my concerns so I am happy with my experience at Self Storage Plus. They are transparent so they did send out a notice addressing the price increase. My unit is so much larger than what another company offered me --- at a much higher price --- that I cannot complain (It is why I moved my things to Self Storage Plus.). White Oak just raised their fee per unit by seventy dollars with no notice. In Maryland, you must provide a 60 day notice of any rate increase to give the consumer options on whether or not they want to keep their things there. They did not do this. Moreover, their surcharge for just paying online is 5.95 because they failed to negotiate a better price from their processor.
