You know when you have to be somewhere you don't want to be you are typically unhappy the whole time, that is not the way I feel here. I spend over 4 hours here every couple months and I have never had a bad experience. I came from a different facility about 6 months ago and I spent less time there but here, I get to rest and the staff is incredible. Everyone here from the nurses to the every day staff are wonderful. I am always comfortable and feel comfortable around the people who work here.
As for me, I have had a great experience at the Cancer Center. When I walk through the front doors, I have a sense of calm, no tension, no stress. I have been so blessed to have great doctors, and a great group of Radiology Therapists. To the doctors, with recommendations and decisions made that have worked for me, I say thank you. Went to the cancer center at Self Regional for my checkup and they refused to see me because I would not sign papers than I had not been allowed time to read! when I explained I would like to read the documents before signing, I was told by a person who claimed to be a supervisor that I must leave wihout being seen if I would not sign. I left and when I asked the “supervvisior” for her name she refused, ironacally they wanted my photograph, copies of all my personal information including my drivers license but would not prov... read more
They are good only thing I say is when u got cancer Dr Wood's will tell you what type of cancer you have and give you how much longer you have to live. I don't recommend Dr Rahul bc he made us believe that all my dad's cancer was gone and never told us what stage of cancer he had nor how long he would have to live. He called dad on Christmas and told him the cancer was gone only thing the cancer was in his lymph nodes and made us think he was ok only for Dad to succumb to death on January 18th.
