Specializing in Japanese Selvedge Denim for men and women. All of the brands we represent at Self Edge are exclusive to our store for North America and are made in Japan on vintage looms. Our house line of shirts and jackets are made in San Francisco while our leather accessories are made in Nagano, Japan. We specialize in clothing that has the quality and the timelessness of the 1930's up until the 1960's.

Great shop with curated but limited inventory. The staff especially in Nick the manager start out as if you’re bothering them (awkward) and then the interaction goes down from there. oddly entitled and knows how to make you feel dumb if you have any reasonable inquiries. calling customers “the slimiest…” in his response to reviews. Need I say more.
Good brands, bad service — not worth the hassle. Self Edge sells quality brands like Iron Heart, but the customer service ruins the experience. One order took over a week to ship, and when I asked about it, I was met with a rude, defensive reply from Kiya. In another case, I pointed out a product listing error with proof, and instead of acknowledging it, I was accused of “strongarming” a discount — totally unprofessional.
