The pay is low no matter what your skills are and If you have more than a high school Diploma or GED - Use another temp agency.
They will never ever call you back worst place ever after u meet with them thats it they wont help u find a job ive been with them for 2 years know and never called me about a job and if u call them they will tell u nothing is out there
My boyfriend and I applied on Monday, and were immediately sent to a winery in Modesto, starting at 9 an hour. That Friday afternoon, my boyfriend drove from stockton to Modesto for work, and the temp agency failed to contact us to let us know that the company cancelled the assignment.. Extremely poor response and communication. I submitted my resume via fax nearly a month ago for a job listing and only just received a call yesterday to come in "for an interview". I specifically asked if I would be there for awhile doing testing etc. and was told NO, its just an interview. When I arrived, I was told to do a survey. Then I had to watch a safety video and "should take notes because I would be tested". An hour later I was told I would still have to fill out an online application which would take another half-h... read more

Maybe I was lucky but my dealing with Select was positive and the staffing specialists were friendly and helpful. Since the economy has changed, there is so much more competition for jobs especially around here but thats no reason to forgo good customer service and keeping up good relations with the community. I have had similar experiences with other staffing agencies in town but Select has been very kind to me.
well as from my experience Select Staffing is not what they say they are. They say that they are there to help but i have had friends and family members go there and they have been rude and judgemental i should not say all of them there is one LISA . There is a question on the application that ask you if you have ever been convicted of a felony. And under that queastion it says if yes this will not bar you from enployment. unfortunately this is not true !! If you are honest they do not call you or try to help you in anyway. ... read more
