Select absolutely lives up to it's reputation. My husband John came here 2-1/2 weeks ago on a ventilator and traeced. He is now off the ventilator and the traec is gone and he is healing. The staff here is amazing and have treated both of us with respect and compassion. Ashley, Brady, Juan and Tony took him under their wing and made it happen. At first I was impressed, I was hurting badly and then every time a nurse or aid came in they hurt me even more. Meaning they didn't remember or realize what I was in there for n they just hurt me more! As I have healed more the wound nurse Dez Wilkins has been amazing, she has taken great care of me and has done great work with all of my wounds, I will never forget her! Thank you so much Dez, you are amazing!!!!
Awesome care for My Mother inlaw ! Jim Waltrip stops by & visits with her when possible ! On one visit stopped & sang for her & played a few songs for her . Steve the Nurse is Wonderful Always polite to talk to & to get answers ~ very detailed & patient..... Highly recommend for any family member.
A horrible place to take a loved one! There are better options, the staff (exception of 1 or 2) were not doing their job at all and seemed like they didn't give a crap about their patient.. I hope they close this place down and not kill any more patients
Went to visit my mom and there were used feeding tube syringes on the floor, dirty alcohol swabs also on the floor, the place was not clean. My mom had a breathing tube and could not speak - the nurse call button was nowhere near her bed. She had a lung infection and they were cleaning the dialysis machine right next to her with bleach. I have so many complaints, it is too much to type. While nurses and techs are nice, it appears that there is no communication between shifts. My husband's medications were changed or stopped for no apparent reason and without informing us. He is diabetic but the nutrition folks "forgot" that detail when he went on a solid food diet. Case manager was totally incompetent, supposed to have special bed in place upon discharge, 2 weeks and we have to start that from scratch.
