I highly recommend that family’s who have their loved ones here to stay vigilant, visit often, keep logs of everything, and stay on high alert. You don’t need anyone’s permission to remove your loved one if you feel they are not getting the best care.

Inadequate care for my mother in law. Refused to give pain meds to her (which were previously prescribed) despite my wife requesting it, transferred from ORMC on Christmas Eve, wife went to visit her Christmas Day, she had not been fed breakfast or lunch. Bottom line, she went in after surgery for a severely broken leg, and ended up dead. My wife is reviewing the medical records and we will consider action. My Aunt was transferred here after an extensive stay in ICU from another hospital. She was battling Covid and was much better. Sitting up and talking. After being transferred here her health deteriorated due to negligence of the staff and she passed away. She lost her life after she had already battled for a month due to the lack of care from the staff. RecommendedI was transferred to Select Specialty hospital from another hospital after skin graft surgery. I was worried because this was the third time that I had a surgery of this kind and I have difficulty healing. My loved one was there for months. The nurses didn't want to answer the phone. One nurse told me to call the patient's family for info, when I am the patient's family. Another nurse asked me to call back after her shift was over. I went to visit and I had to request that they clean the patient up.
