Do not go to this facility. My husband was bleeding from his trach and mouth after being there roughly 24 hrs. They told that me 911 services could not send an ambulance because they don’t transport patients from that hospital to another hospital. Then they ask me if I could call 911 myself from home. I’m dissatisfied and disgusted with this place. Please, take your love ones elsewhere. Zero stars
I just want to share something that meant so much to me, my dad recently passed and a very caring loving housekeeper stayed by my side while I was grieving. She comforted me on and off duty. She became a friend of mine. She has a genuine heart for others, she goes beyond her job description. Thank you Valerie Sims, I appreciate you
DONT SEND SOMEone you love there! My brother was restrained on all fours and lost 40 pounds! He wasn’t getting enough nutrician or being fed. They “claim” they tried, but I saw NO untensils opened to feed him with, so they LIE! Case managers threatened me multiple times, because all they care about is GETTING THEIR MONEY! They have people that sit and watch their phones with ear phones in so they can’t watch patients. So many horrible things happened there, I can’t BEGIN to list them all! If I could give a zero I would, my mother went there in pretty good condition and left in the worse condition of her life. Thank GOD I had the sense to take her elsewhere. I will start with day two, her phone was gone no one knew where it went, then her blood sugar dropped to 29 and she was out of it. My sister has been in the god awful place to long. They told us, she will be wean off the vent in no time and physical therapy will 3xs a week. I am a nurse, I seen the worse nursing care provided there,. What happen to the fundamentals of nursing care...provide hygiene care and making sure the patient is fully provided for. PROS: There are some really great nurses, respiratory therapists, and physical therapists that work here. They offer free coffee and tea in a "family room." CONS: Everything else. I would give zero stars if I could. My mother was here for a few months and only 56 years old. She passed away from septic shock yesterday here while under their care. In order to leave this review I was forced to give a 1 star rating. They actually deserve less than nothing. This place is an utter disgrace. Please heed my warning when I tell you to please find an alternative for your loved one. From upper management (especially) to clinicians, regular staff, and administration, they were ALL beyond disappointing and disgusting.
