I really would like to leave no stars for this place. Have you ever been to a used car dealership? My experience was just like that. From moment one we were told how great they are at what they do, best in the business, but the problem was half the time they never did anything. My father received less than par care and most the staff was rather rude to my mother. One of the worst experience in my life knowing my father wasn't getting the care he needed or deserved. This "Hospital within a Hospital" is too small and understaffed to operate effectively. While the physical therapists performed very well, there is only one occupational therapist (3 days/week) period and, from what I could see, only one respiratory therapist on duty per shift (in a vent ward). The nursing staff is obviously overworked and undermanned. Patient calls, and staff assistance calls, tend to have rather long lag times. Select was a great experience for me. The facility and staff are top notch. they were very professional without sacrificing humanity. Everyone here really cared about my recovery, had a great attitude, and bedside manner. I would definitely recommend their facilities to anyone. They are very clean and well maintained. Best hospital experience I could have hoped for.
I was at Select Medical for 20 days and they treated me wonderfully. The staff was attentive and I felt like some of them were family. During a time when I could have given up, they lifted me up and made me believe that I could do it.
Thanks to all the staff at Bryan West. Their teamwork brought me back to life! I thank God for each one of them!
