Thankfully, I am no longer under the care of Jay Seigel . It has been three months now that I have been contacting him by phone and email to obtain my medical records. Two separate psychiatric agencies have sent him the proper forms with my signature, requesting my medical records !!! They are legally mine, and will assist another doctor in helping to see what medication‘s in the past have worked and which haven’t. Chastises clients with lectures. Never holds appointment time/is consistently 15-30 minutes behind. Uses Google in front of you to figure out your condition. He does not actually care about patients, and takes 96 hours or longer to return any phone calls. Highly recommend never using.

After spending years going down the wrong paths with the wrong professionals, I was fortunate to find Jay. He is professional and compassionate. I was pleased with the amount of time that he spent with me really trying to understand the root of my issues. He is not the typical "hello, goodbye, and here's your prescription" type of APRN. His diagnosis was spot on and he worked with me to find the best medication combinations. 5 stars +++++

Jay has always taken the extra time needed to fully listen to and address my issues-he does not watch the clock to end the session just because "time is up" He has helped me to put my life back together and works with you to make choices-you play an important role in treatment. I have referred others to Jay and was thrilled when he was able to start treatment for my daughter-she couldn't be in better hands.

Very easy to speak to and attentive. Made me feel very much at ease. Some patients may not like his use of self-evaluation questionnaires. However, I found that he used them to better understand what I was telling him. i highly recommend Jay.
