Spent four hours touring the grounds and getting a behind the scene tour of the lab and operation. Great time. These guys are doing great work!
Help to preserve the seeds of the old varieties, they are usually open pollinated, and breed true. These are the plants that will last, and they will outlast the hybrids. They are the seeds that will feed our families when the other plants don't produce.
We had a great time at Seed Savers. The grounds and gardens were beautiful and well kept. It was definitely time well spent.
