I wish I could be there for the tomato event. I love growing them. One year where we use to live, I grew over 100 different types of tomatoes. We have moved & now I can only use containers to grow a few plants. I miss my tomatoes. :-/

Living in close proximity to Seed Savers Heritage Farm, I am able to witness firsthand, on any given day, the care which goes into this endeavor. All who care for the seeds, care for the land. There is a beautiful respect for what they do, which inspires us all to save seeds, to plant heirloom varieties, to know and tell their stories. As I get older, this feels all the more important. I got my seeds a couple days ago, was very pleased to see some heirloom varieties from Wisconsin! Some of my Beaver Dam Peppers are already sprouting! I will be back for next year's seeds.
