Dr Kathy Halverson in the Forest City NC location is the best! She explained things very clearly, did not rush and made me feel confident with my eye exam. I will return to see her again when I need an eye exam. The other staff was really great also.
The Doctor was quick and friendly. I give 2 stars for their Billing issues. I have vision insurance and they refused to use it. Turned my exam into my health insurance which denied the claim. So I had to pay the total bill instead of the $10.00 co pay. I went back to the office and tried to get them to rebill this and they refused. Next time I will go where they accept vision insurance.
Most of the staff is friendly, Mary Robeson is THE BEST, it’s pretty fast getting in and out, they do accept Medicaid for the vision part but you have to go to Morganton eye for the glasses. The reason I give three stars is because every time you call, they either let it sit off the hook then hang up or just pick up the phone and hang up on you.
The eye Dr is Very good at her job. She genuinely practices with the patient's best care as first priority. She also took great care with my 8 year old's 1st eye exam! I would recommend Walmart vision to anyone as long as these 2 kind ladies are working there :) The receptionist is so kind, also!
This doctor is the reason I go to this vision center,she is wonderful.
