I was so disappointed in the food and service last night. I have been many times and after last night I don’t believe I will ever return. We had 9 ladies meeting for a monthly dinner and some drive from the Va Beach area and one lady drove from the Richmond area. It took us 30 minutes to even get water, then another 30 for our drink order. By the time we got our food it was 2 hours later and it was all cold. I’ve been coming to Second Street for a while now because it’s always exceeded my expectations. This evening was a whole different story. After an unusually long wait for service, our drinks took forever, appetizers came out with wrong portion sizes, had to ask for bread about 10 times, and rounded out the evening with cold dinners that had to be reheated. First time and the service was excellent. It was very pleasant and the food was great! Our waitress was Brittany and she did an outstanding job on telling us the specials and answering our questions. I can’t wait to make our way back soon and hopefully have Brittany as our waitress!
This is a great lunch and dinner spot! They have brunch every Sunday which I’m excited to come to and try. Brittany was our waitress and she was excellent. Great spot for a date night!
