I purchased the R30 from Brian. He’s very knowledgeable and fun to work with but as soon as I got the boat there were issues needed to be worked out. Customer service is a different story. They keep dragging on and still unable to fix the amp for the audio. Kept calling back and it’s been over a year, the problem is still not addressed. I am hoping they take their customer service more seriously as it seems like once they sell you the boat, they don’t care anymore….I hope they address my issue soon. I switched to Seattle Boat Company - Newport after disappointing experiences with the original service provider on my 2010 SeaRay 280 Sundancer. Although I have subsequently moved my boat from Newport Yacht Basin, I have been so impressed with the quality of the services provided by Greer Ingersoll and his team, all coordinated by the fabulously helpful Leilani McElroy, that I keep coming back. I just purchased a new boat and have been pleased with the fuel station staff. I also had very pleasant experience working with the service team. Leilani, Greer, Cory and Shaheen are very nice people and great with customers. I purchased a Searay and they helped me with untangling the line which was in the prop and because of their great service I am thinking about buying cobalt in future
Flawless customer service. These guys make sure you have your boat as soon as possible and make sure you have the best time on your boat. Newport’s delivery captain Tommy Ridgeway carefully walked us through all of the details to our new boat and made us feel ready to get on the water with it within 30 mins of laying eyes on it.
