Dr Santos struggled to get the right fit for a rather "deep" filling, but got it right and there was very little discomfort. I went out to dinner 2 hours after the procedure and felt fine!
Though I do not relish the need for another implant to replace the root canal, I feel that Dr. Santos' recommendation is the wisest option. Maybe once my excision biopsy is done tomorrow and the upcoming pathology report gives me a clean bill of health, I won't have the stress that I had this past year and thus not grind my teeth. I concur wth Dr. Santos that very likely the grinding at night that I do triggered the fracture in the root canal that he did in 2011, just 4 years ago. They took me in at a last minute notice and gave me excellent professional care,reassurance that I did not have an abscessed tooth,and I felt very satisfied with Dr. Santos and the great girls he has working for him. Sharon at the front desk followed through when making my appointment and got back to me as soon as possible when I told her that my own dentist could not work me in. I was most grateful for their time.
