would not honor 50% sale even though it was very clearly marked. supervisor was atrocious. Clearly I could have handled the situation better but she banned me from the store for life.. who knows if I'll live longer than the store..
My husband and I went in less than a month ago(8/5) to look at mattresses and were excited about the Lease It Program. I will say the Sales Associate was so kind, but was NOT knowledgeable about the program. We all discussed how we would need a foundation (more on this later) and started the paperwork to lease the mattress, which was roughly $1300 before tax. Awesome customer service. Prompt when I needed help and very attentive.
We had one of the worst customer service experiences ever in the Boise Town Square Mall location. We wondered around the upper floor for 30 minutes trying to find a store associate who could help us. Not once were we ever greeted by any of the four associates on the floor. The only female associate walked right by us carrying a clip board while it was obvious we were waiting for assistance, looked at us and continued walking without greeting us or asking us if we could be helped. Zero decent customer service if your appliance breaks. We should have known better than buying a washing machine from Sears. Almost a month waiting for a part that nobody knows anything about. Worst purchase ever.
Sears just needs to be done and go ahead and close all their stores. My wife and I went there to buy a stove and microwave (planning to spend $1,700+). We were there for over 40 minutes looking at appliances and deciding which one to buy. Not once were we ever greeted, acknowledged, or offered any sort of help. We left and made our purchase at Home Depot. Go ahead and close. Your store will not be missed.
We bought a Vacuum right before we moved, we tried to take it back and didn't have the receipt because it was in a box. By the time we unpacked and got it taken back we missed their 30 day return window. They refused to take it back. Worst Return policy in history.....
I leased a T.V. from here through (whynotleaseit) they didn't make me aware of having to pay extra at the end of my lease payment. I also had made two extra payments so by this amount my T.V. that i was buying it for (well thought i was buying it) wasn't being sold for this amount to me. Then i had called to ask about why they were still taking money out and they said "I didn't make my last payment" Which was incorrect. I had made all my payments on time with no hassel.
