Salesmen are super helpful, store is clean and organized, and the new owner, Allen is wonderful!
My husband and I walked into the Sears Hometown Store in Grass Valley to look at a Samsung Stove. Alan (owner) helped us out, he was through and very helpful. He explained how they convert gas to propane and delivery cost. We left, to do our do-diligence, and ended up going back to Alan the next day. He not only had the best price for the stove, but the conversion to propane and delivery couldn't be beat. Thank you Alan, for being so helpful. I also look to shop local, first and foremost. And I especially like to do so when the customer service and attention is kind and helpful. The new owners of our local, Nevada County Sears Hometown Store are really great people. I look forward to doing more business with them in the future! Have bought all my vacuum cleaners from Sears, as well as furnished my new home (back when it was new) with appliances from our local Sear Hometown. Keep the money local! Spend it with good people who support Community!
