My Automotive experience – I would like to start by saying that Sears USED to be a good name brand and when I was young we did everything at Sears. OH how times have changed. On 10/27/2010 I had my Nissan 4cylinder frontier towed into the Automotive Center at the Brandon town center. The car wouldnt start and was acting like a battery problem. NEVER AGAIN! – I have made the mistake of coming here too many times. Not anymore. The final straw for me was a back in July when I brought my car in for a flat tire replacement, waited 3 hours (I was told only 45 mins) and they replaced the wrong tire! The customer service reps and manager are extremely unfriendly & are very lazy. If the line gets long, the manager and other sales reps don't even bother to open the other register to help get the line down, they walk by and pretend not to see anything. DO NOT GO HERE!!! – I brought my car to Sears to get the windshield wiper fixed on the drivers' side. They offered to fix it for 28.00, and I agreed, as it was a great deal! I gave them my keys, and they said that the car will be done in about a half an hour to an hour. It was 1:50pm. An hour later, they still haven't started working on my car because they claimed that the part didn't come in yet. Read reviews by actual consumers, not adverttisers – They told me my brakes were so bad the rotors needed replacing, and even said one of my rotors was cracked. Total for repair $411. I went to Meineke the next day for a second opinion. They said my brakes were fine. Cleaned and adjusted them for $39.95. Your call. Remember, they make commissions (the more they charge you, the more the salesman puts in his pocket). It was a total lie!! I filed a complaint with the BB B. Check it out before you trust them.
