Here's my review Sears Service Center sucks!!!.......I need to ge ahold of someone about a problem and In No Way, Shape or Form Can I get ahold of a Human!!! Worst Customer Service I have EVER EXPERIENCED.
My oven was not working correctly, it took 2 weeks for a technician to get to my house, then he needed to order parts and returned to install the parts 2 weeks later after it took 3 days for the part to come in but on the way he was blocked by traffic and cancelled 20 minutes from my house which made it 2 more weeks for him to actually get back to my house and $716 later my oven appears to be working. Very nice and knowledgeable.
First, to be clear, I rate service tech Jonathan 5 stars. He examined and within minutes isolated the problem. He took time to explain that the thermal cut-off fuse tripped and why this can happen. He answered all my questions very clearly. This fuse cannot be reset, it must be replaced. The $120 evaluation fee Sears charges is reasonable and I don't mind paying that. But the actual repair fee of over $400 (evaluation fee waived) to replace a $10 fuse is too high to justify for this older dryer. The reason for 4 stars (almos... read more
