If u bought your appliance in motown, sears can't help u. The number provided with the product is redundant. The customer help.line will only say that service is not available in the morgantown area. Sears is out of business of course. So like many things you at the mercy of the local services wich are reliable , but overwhelmed with service calls. Get your appliances at lowes with a protection plan and if it malfunctions, you can take it back for a new one, unless you can wait 3 weeks + to do your laundry.
After the lengthy computerized telephone system I was told there wasn't a repair person in my area. But they kept trying to sell me the appliance repair insurance.
