I was “seen” by Dr. Ryan as I wanted a second opinion on the possibility of needing a partial knee joint replacement. Dr. Ryan was very dismissive. I brought my own mri disk from a previous scan, and I found it very odd he did not refer to my images, and he read the report off of my phone that I was referring to as I was talking to him. I gave the disk to the nurse when I was taken for X-rays and she gave me the disk back when I returned to the room. I really appreciated his demeanor, how he explained things clearly, gave realistic expectations, and respected my own points of view. For him, there are no stupid questions—he answers all of them with a smile.
