Dr. Kenney saved my life and the life of my 25 week baby where my membranes spontaneously ruptured. I will forever be grateful for his expertise and his insight throughout my last pregnancy. Dr. Kenney did not sugar coat my situation which is what I needed to hear. I cannot speak more highly of him because he did the unthinkable and went the extra mile where other specialist's wouldn't have.
I would never again trust my pregnancy or delivery with Dr. Kenney. He had such strong opinions and terrible bed side manner. All of his advice and direction put my baby at higher risk. After he made me feel very uncomfortable I requested to not have him as my OB prior to delivery. Then he was the only one available so he delivered my child, who was severely premature. Dr. Kenney was extremely pessimistic, and made me feel as if I was inevitably heading to a c-section. He kept making comments like "someone like me" in which it felt as if I should have expected having to go to a specialist. Just essentially made me feel awful, like I was completely at fault. I've never felt so completely hopeless after seeing a doctor. I will say, his team was amazing in every other way. My husband and I feel very comfortable asking Dr. Kenney any questions we have. I had to make a very hard decision to stay on medication during my pregnancy. I am 18 weeks now and just had the ultrasound to check my baby's heart and everything looks perfect! Dr. Kenney helped us stay strong and positive through the process. I would recommend him to anyone!!
