Dr Gallagher is the best - very friendly and easy to talk with, a great diagnostician and excellent surgeon. I went to him for a knee problem after my wife had him repair a torn shoulder tendon. Unlike other orthopedic specialists he's not one to push surgery unless it's needed which I appreciate. Update 8/19/25: I had arthroscopic surgery yesterday to trim a torn meniscus and today I am completely pain free and walking without medication. Dr Gallagher is knowledgeable and easy to talk to. He did a great job explaining and pondering options. His recommendations for pain management, including pre-surgery are going well (I'm 28 hours post surgery). So far I couldn't be doing any better!
Dr. Sean Gallagher is great. He does a great job explaining diagnostic options, treatment options, etc. with attention to your unique, personal situation. I'm glad I visited Dr. Gallagher at ATX Orthopedics after previously trying 2 other local doctors and feeling like their appoints were rushed and impersonal.
