Dr. Gallagher and his nurse Jessica were great. My appointment was on time and he was patient while I asked questions. Most importantly, after explaining my aversion to opioids, he already had a fix for that!
Dr Gallagher is the best - very friendly and easy to talk with, a great diagnostician and excellent surgeon. I went to him for a knee problem after my wife had him repair a torn shoulder tendon. Unlike other orthopedic specialists he's not one to push surgery unless it's needed which I appreciate. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
UPDATE 6/27/25 Came in for my 11 day postop TKR visit with Dr. Gallagher. I’m doing great, walking without a walker and I’ve been off pain meds for about a week. Incision looks great, well healed with very little bruising. Dr. Gallagher very pleased that my range of motion is excellent with fantastic extension and flexing too. I’m very pleased I’m walking and moving without pain. Dr. Gallagher is a great surgeon! UPDATE: 6/16/2025 My second surgery with Dr. Gallagher, this time a Total Knee Replacement(TKR) of the right knee. Surgery went well, pain very minimal and still minimal 5 days post op. I did have the nerve block a week prior to surgery, which was recommended and should last 3 months. Able to walk on a walker right after surgery and go home.
