About this business

This Point Lobos restaurant isn't just for Seal Rock Inn guests. The owners would never deprive others of its ocean view or eclectic cuisine. A wonderful choice for breakfast, it serves an international assortment of omelets. Choose from Greek, with feta and fresh spinach, or Italian served with salami, Italian cheese and onions. Maybe you prefer Spanish, bell peppers, onions, celery, tomatoes and cheese, or spicy Mexican, with sausages, jack cheese and jalapeno pepper. On a different note, the French omelet with fruit, sour... read more

Stay anywhere else but here! – Rude! They do not understand hospitality! So, I am getting married in September, and the wedding coordinators from the banquet hall where I am having my reception suggested in their information packet the Seal Rock Inn for accommodations. BAD IDEA!!! I called the Seal Rock Inn, and the manager at the Seal Rock Inn used a sharp tone of voice with me when I asked him questions about booking rooms for my wedding. I told him his tone of voice was rude and I was just asking questions. There is appar... read more

HORRID PLACE – This is the worst restaurant I have ever visited. About 2 weeks ago, I was sitting outside the restaurant, way in the back far from the entrance, with my two service dogs. The manager came out and told me that I could not leave my dogs tied up in the back if I wanted to dine there (I was waiting for 6 friends). When he saw the service patches on the dogs, he asked me what my disability was. I told him that was an illegal request and that I was not attempting to bring the dogs into the restaurant but would leav... read more

I won't go back! – . I used to go there all the time and They would just stand there when you were waiting for your bill. If you asked for your bill you would still wait... I went there with my Mother there were four in our party and we were just jamed at a small table in an emty restaurant. When I asked for a bigger table this waitress said it was to big for us. The table was set for five....

Worst Restaurant Experience EVER – After being a longtime customer, I had the worst restaurant experience of my life here. My husband introduced me to this place back in 2001 after we'd first met. It became one of our top breakfast spots, since we live in the Sunset. We took so many people here over the years, parents - everyone! We couldn't have been more surprised when this happened: We had just finished up a pre-wedding meeting at our reception hall. We decided to take my maid of honor here for a bite. While we were waiti... read more

A great bargain with ocean views and easy access to the city. – In Short This oceanfront motel is located next to Sutro Heights Park and just a few blocks from the famed Cliff House, Sutro Bath Ruins and Golden Gate Park. Many of the rooms boast beautiful ocean and Seal Rock views, and all are fabulously large, making them popular with families. Most accommodations on the third floor have wood-burning fireplaces; you're given a set of logs when you check in. Stovetop kitchenette units are available. The cute, Mediterranean-s... read more

Not High On My List – Almost having a good view of the ocean does not make up for the fact that the Seal Rock Inn Restaurant has terrible service and average food. We ate here for breakfast and waited quite a while before finally being served. We were then served a very average morning meal. The omelettes did look good, though. Everything else on the menu is forgettable. But you get what you pay for, this restaurant has fairly low prices.
