I had the BEST experience here. I developed a sudden, large blurry floater on July 3, and I was worried about my retina. My ophthalmologist was closed, so I began calling around because I did not want to go to the ER. I called probably 5-6 places and they were either closed or the doctors were not there that day. Great service, eyeglasses are great.
Dr. Dao is great but the rest of the office seems to have fallen apart since Total Vision took over. I’ve dealt with incorrect orders and incorrect billing on multiple visits. Each time they expect me to pay for their mistakes. Also some of their staff don’t seem to care to be there. One of their staff outright lied to me about a billing credit that didn’t exist and acted bored while they were supposed to be helping my son choose frames.
I honestly hate leaving negative reviews because the front desk staff here were genuinely very sweet and professional, and the office itself had a great atmosphere. Unfortunately, my interaction with the woman doing the eye exams, Charlie, completely changed the experience for me. I accidentally mixed up the Seal Beach and Long Beach locations when booking.
