RecommendedMy mother spent a week in the hospital before passing away. I can't say enough about the care and emotional support received from the nurses. They did everything they could and they took on the extra burden of being the emotional support for my mom when we couldn't be there due to concerns about Covid. Finally at the end they did everything they could for us to make sure my mom had a peaceful passing. Scheduled Friday for CT scan did phone check in today. Was told my insurance pays 90% and I was responsible for 10 %. Told me I needed to give them 1000.00 dollars. I laughed and said this test cost 10,000.00 dollars. Canceled my appointment immediately after that and said you will never have my business again.

RecommendedI've spent 10 days in Portsmouth hospital. I have had a great experience aside from the kitchen. Anna Wilkinson screws up my order EVERY SINGLE DAY. There literally has not been one time she has gotten it right. But the nurses and doctors have been mostly amazing, with one or two exceptions. I felt cared for and Emily the LNA is FANTASTIC

lack of bedside manner from the nurses and doctors in the ER, last time I was there, the room I was in wasnt even cleaned properly.

RecommendedI had unexpected 5 bypass surgery on May 13th 2020 and have to say that I am so happy that I was in this hospital. The staff and Doctors and Nurses were so sweet and the care was the best of the best. I live 100 mile north of Portsmouth and It was worth the trip. Very Clean Hospital also.

I spent 12 hours calling every hour trying to get to say happy birthday to my mother on what might be her last and got nothing but run around, sent to the wrong extensions and hung up on. despicable organisation
