Not modernized but very clean.
We stayed 3 nights and very much enjoyed our stay. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great and filling. The only negative for us was the extreme firmness of the beds.
Over-priced, but very clean and spacious rooms. Not the friendliest front desk people.
Service was great. The rooms were dated but clean which is more than I can say about oceanside. We arrived late we told the person in charge about our plight at oceanside they were very sympathetic and even checked our rooms to ensure their cleanliness. We were able to shower and sleep without the ick from the other hotel. The rooms are not amazing by any stretch. We did not eat the included breakfast.
Prices are reasonable and the room is big. However it is quite dated. I recommend it if you are traveling with a pet because their pet fee is the most reasonable price I have encountered. The free breakfast is ok - waffles, egg, biscuit, cereal, bread, but the dining room space is quite cramped. If you don’t mind a no frills affordable accommodation and are traveling with a dog, book here but if you don’t have a dog I would go someplace a little more upscale.
