Our attempted purchase fell apart because we were uncomfortable with the process—Seapac Homes pushed us to use their preferred lender and would not accept outside financing. We were told they wouldn’t proceed with the sale if we used our own lender, which felt inappropriate and undermined trust in the transaction. There are other builders who don’t restrict buyers this way, so if transparency and choice matter to you, consider looking elsewhere.
I bought a brand-new home from Seapac a few years ago, and now that I’ve been living here for a while, I’m genuinely shocked by how poor the overall quality is. One of the most dangerous issues is that there are countless nails sticking up through the carpet, making it a hazard to walk around the house.
