I don't even eat seafood. I only went because my wife loves it and I promised we could try the new place. Loved it! One of the best salads I've ever had, great beer, friendly and attentive server, and a beautiful view. My wife is still talking about the Baja tacos and the oysters she got. Will be back soon.
Came in tonight to celebrate my birthday a few days early - the food was AMAZING and well-priced, considering it's delicious seafood in New England during the summer. The atmosphere was great and our server (Dan) was great - he was fun and his recommendations were spot on (wine, entree, and dessert). I know that this particular space hasn't seen many places stick around too long but I hope that Sea Level is here for the long haul...I'm already dreaming about when I can come back for some more seafood pie!
Excellent fresh seafood restaurant! My sister ordered the gourmet grilled cheese sandwich which came a lightly sauced cole slaw and homemade potato chips. I ordered three each of the oysters of the day from the raw bar. We each thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Our waitress Paige was attentive and very pleasant. The view of Derby Wharf was gorgeous. So good!!! Clam linguini was delish!! Really unique drinks and wine as well. Will definitely be back. Sitting right on the water was so beautiful. What a wonderful day.
I'm not usually one to leave reviews on Facebook but I HAD to with this place. It was recommended to me by a friend who lives in Salem and boy, am I glad we ended up going! I waited at the bar for my friends to arrive and the bartender was amazing and super nice (I wish I had his name!) Dinner was that much better.
