I went to SDCCU Point Loma branch on 3/15/2023, to open an checking acct at around 4:15 an and service rep asked the manager if still ok. Manager wants me to make an appt to open an acct. I ask them if I can do it now because I'm very busy at work and there's still 45 mins and I'm the only member on deck. The manager his name is "LUIS E AMAYA" STILL REFUSED for me to open an acct. They will overstep and disrespect boundaries. They judge individuals and think they are being advocates when they are actually inserting their self-righteousness where it doesn’t belong.
I had several accounts here and then moved out of San Diego. When I tried to close my accounts the teller wanted me to leave them open incase I came back at a later date. 7 years later an old account I had shared with a business partner that I tried to close was left open and apparently they kept using the account. I didn't access or have access to this account I also couldn't contact the owner of the account.
